GreenField Robotics, the first of two Groover Labs members to earn the award, makes autonomous agbots that cut weeds between rows of broadacre crops, reducing our dependence on petrochemicals in the food supply and supporting regenerative farming. Our Co-founder and Executive Director Curt Gridley has worked with GreenField Robotics since 2021 in our Maker Labs to redesign the electronics for their next-generation robots. infoFluency, the second of two Groover Labs members to earn the award, uncovers information and insights in business data using visual analytics and efficient data applications. Last year, the firm introduced its Renevue Management Tool, which gives business owners and executives new ways to see their revenue drivers clearly, visibly, and aesthetically by marrying accounting and CRM data into a customized dashboard. Click here to read our discussion about the launch of their Management Revenue Tool last year. Read the Wichita Business Journal article here.
We would be remiss if we didn’t mention KaaS, or Knowledge As A Service, which also won an award this year for their Future Ready app, and their Future Ready nationwide game tournament. KaaS was an early member at Groover Labs, when they first came to town, and began hiring staff. While they may not call Groover Labs home anymore, we love following their success!
