We have several parking options. We host events at Groover Labs year round. During any given week, we may have hundreds of guests in the building. Maybe they’re attending a training session in our 275-person event venue, or they’re participating in a class in one of our 24-person capacity classrooms, or they’re meeting a client in one of our conference rooms. Wichita Startup Week, presented by Koch Industries, announced at its Preview Party last week the tracks planned for this year’s event and opened a call for proposals. Wichita Startup Week 2023 will present five days of panel discussions, sessions and workshops across five tracks designed to transform ideas into startup reality.
We were thrilled to host Wichita Startup Week 2022 again this year. As the central location for startup activity in Wichita, we’re a natural fit. There were more than 30 sessions, almost all of which took place at Groover Labs. We loved having so many enthusiastic founders and startup ecosystem supporters here throughout the week. They brought the energy and vibe we foster within our community.

Jenn White, host of NPR’s daily radio program 1A, was in Wichita last week to support local station KMUW. White, who has worked in radio since 1999, was named as 1A’s host in July 2020. Tom Shine, director of news and public affairs at KMUW, interviewed White at Groover Labs in the event venue in front of a crowd of KMUW supporters.
Our event venue was humming on Thursday, June 30, from early in the morning until close. The team from Digital Wichita and Social Media Examiner came together to host Social Media day Wichita 2022. This is our second time hosting this spirited and enthusiastic group of social media experts and influencers.
Wichita State University’s student-led printmaking guild Tornado Alley Press took over our parking lot and lobby on Friday, April 29, for a special, annual event where they partnered with the City of Wichita to use a steamroller to make print images.
We’re excited to partner with WSU Tech and the Greater Wichita Partnership to bring manufacturing influencer Andrew Crowe’s “New American Renaissance Manufacturing Tour” to Wichita on Friday, April 29, and Saturday, April 30, 2022. All events are free and open to the public.
