We host events at Groover Labs all year round. During any given week, we may have hundreds of guests in the building. Maybe they’re attending a training session in our 275-person event venue, or they’re participating in a class in one of our 24-person capacity classrooms, or they’re meeting a client in one of our conference rooms.
With so many people coming to Groover Labs, we wanted to provide details that cover our guest parking options.
Location
Groover Labs is located on the east side of St. Francis between 2nd and 3rd streets. If you’re coming from the south, drive past WAVE and turn east (right) just before the large wooden fence and Groover Labs sign. Drive east toward WAVE’s stage, then turn north (left). You’ll see a large parking lot and a storefront facing the railroad tracks.
A Note About On-site Parking
Please park within the parking stripes. Do not park in areas where the lot is not striped. The open spaces may seem tempting, but we leave them unstriped and open so emergency vehicles can access the front of our building.
On-street Parking
The east and west sides of St. Francis between 2nd and 3rd Streets are free, open parking. The signs say there’s a 2-hour parking limit. Two-hour parking times serve several events we host. And while we cannot advocate for parking there longer than two hours, we can also confess that we have done it more than once without penalty.
Northwest Lot
On the northwest corner of St. Francis and 3rd Street, you will find an empty parking lot. It is across the street from Integris and catty-cornered to Groover Labs. We own all the spaces in this lot, and it serves as an excellent overflow lot for large events.
Coleman Parking Lot
The area referred to as the old Coleman parking lot is located on the east side of St. Francis between 1st and 2nd Streets. The space is free and open to the public. It is across the street from Coca Dolce. Google Maps says it’s a four-minute walk from the lot to Groover Labs.
