We want to extend a big thank you to Seth Etter, president of devICT, for presenting at our first lunchtime talk last Friday, September 16.
Over the course of an hour, Seth led an in-depth talk about useful strategies for software developers who want to deploy their new project. He outlined a variety of different tools—some free, some simple, some costly, some complex—and why he felt those tools were good fits, depending on the developer’s project.
An extensive question-and-answer session followed, where attendees were able to share some of their personal experiences deploying projects, as well as ask Seth and other participants about different tools they’ve used, and why they used them.
Groover Labs recently partnered with devICT to offer lunchtime talks through the end of the year. The next talk will take place on Friday, October 21, starting at noon. Cookies and drinks will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch. All devICT events are free, but a $10 donation to support Groover Labs is welcome. Check our public calendar here for updates on October’s speaker.
