NXTUS, Inc., an organization dedicated to serving founders and startups with connections to capital, customers, and other needed resources, is launching NXTCONNECT beginning at 11 a.m. on January 29, 2021 and continuing on the last Friday of each month. The program is a new series dedicated to helping provide information and connections for founders to help grow their businesses. Due to current conditions related to Covid-19, the first NXTCONNECT event will be virtual. When conditions permit, NXTCONNECT will be held at Groover Labs.

The first NXTCONNECT session will cover the Payroll protection Program (PPP), as entrepreneurs look to navigate through a new round of stimulus money, with its own processes, restrictions, and guidance.

The focused discussion will be led by Wayne Bell at the Kansas SBA and a local banking representative. Bell has been the District Director for the Wichita Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) since 2008. He has a background that includes extensive experience in the public and private sectors, combined with a thorough understanding of the small business environment in Kansas. They will share their insights on PPP’s impact on early-stage companies, and they will be available to answer questions.
