Key Responsibilities

We will expect you to:

  • Greet members and guests promptly and enthusiastically.

  • Make each member and visitor feel like Groover Labs’ MVP.

  • Respond to member requests, inquiries and concerns in a timely fashion.

  • Maintain facilities to the highest standards, allowing our members to feel pride when they bring clients and investors to Groover Labs.

  • Attend to all kitchen requirements (such as cleaning and catering) as needed.

  • Make and refresh coffee several times a day.

  • Keep up with cleaning and tidying. The lobby is the first space members and guests will see. Pick up trash and clean counters.  

  • Be intentional about meticulous cleanliness and organization throughout the space (from bathrooms to the parking lot!).

  • Support the Groover Labs staff with setup and breakdown for events to ensure all requirements meet the highest standards.

  • Maintain a consistently high hospitality experience for all members and guests of Groover Labs.

  • Process mail and packages.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Traits, Experience and Skills

To be successful at Groover Labs, you will be:

  • Punctual, professional, proactive and thorough — a quick-learning self-starter who works well in a fast-paced environment.

  • An ambassador to Groover Labs’ members who understands the need to recognize each person individually. Doing so will help you anticipate our members’ needs and exceed their expectations.

  • Highly organized and efficient with excellent time management skills.

  • Solutions-oriented.

  • Able to confidently take phone calls and answer questions related to Groover Labs’ membership types, events, etc.

  • Proficient in the computer skills needed to register and manage memberships.

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Willing to open and close the building. This includes being comfortable leaving the building at closing time, which could be as late as midnight.

  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing responsibilities.
