If you’ve never started a business, or you don’t have a mentor to guide you, it’s difficult to know how to start. We want to help. Part of our mission at Groover Labs is to bring together members of the local startup community so they can help each other. Sometimes that means gathering support from the professional community like attorneys, accountants, web developers, and marketing pros.
On Friday, November 20, at noon, Sam Foreman and David Ferguson of Foreman Law will deliver the lunchtime talk “Starting Startups” at Groover Labs. The attorneys at Foreman Law have years of experience working with startups in the region and on a daily basis advise startup companies at all life cycle stages concerning legal and practical considerations related to formation, operation, and liquidity events. Not only do they know the law, they know the landscape.
This is an in-person and virtual event. It is free for Groover Labs and $5 for non-members. Feel free to bring your lunch. Bottles of water and cookies will be provided.
Beginning in December, attorneys from Foreman Law will also keep office hours twice per month at Groover Labs. Information about how to reserve a time to meet with them will be available later this month.
This is the first in a series of lunchtime talks at Groover Labs featuring legal and other professional services. We’re actively pursuing experts from other service areas to build the series. Stay tuned! More info to follow.
