Member News: Kansas Global VP Named as Next Gen Global Leader
When we opened our email this morning, we were happy to see another one of our members in the news. Congratulations to Kansas Global Trade Services Vice President Tyler Walston, who was named as a Next Gen Global Leader. The Next Gen Global Leaders network is a program of the U.S. Leadership Coalition, an organization whose mission is to strengthen America’s civilian-led tools—development and diplomacy—alongside defense. Next Gen recruits a diverse and bipartisan group of up-and-comers for a year-long leadership training. Kansas Global VP named a Next Gen Global Leader
Kansas Global Trade Services vice president Tyler Walston has been named a Next Generation Global Leader by the U.S. Global Leadership Council.
Next Gen is a new, year-long program that teaches leadership, skills training and mentorship to young professionals in global development and diplomacy.
“Kansas Global succeeds when its clients succeed in the global marketplace," Kansas Global Trade Services president and CEO Karyn Page said in a statement. "We value our partnership with USGLC for its impressive network and global view. Tyler’s participation in the USGLC Next Gen network will cultivate his professional development and expand his network throughout the U.S. — resulting in better service to our customers."
The program features nearly 100 professionals in 33 states.
Walston was a 2017 WBJ 40 Under 40 selection. He has been with Kansas Global almost 10 years.
