Groover Labs Community Associate Position

Are you a high-energy self-starter? Do you like to be the central hub of communication for a wildly collaborative workspace? Are you the kind of person who likes to foster connections? Coffee brewer extraordinaire? Creative? Love technology? Good at names and faces?

If you answered “yes” to these questions, then we want to hear from you!

Groover Labs is looking for a new community associate. You’ll sit at the front desk of our collaborative workspace where you’ll greet everyone on their way in and out, direct traffic, build connections, sign in guests, help set up for events, and other duties as necessary. (Things happen fast at Groover Labs, and our staff must be ready at a moment’s notice to pivot to the next pressing thing.)

Our community associates live at the center of our mission to serve as a gathering point of entrepreneurial activity in the Midwest region. We support growth in local startup activity through collaborative workspace, community, and programming. Your job will be to support the space and our community. 

Details:

• Monday - Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

• This is a part-time, hourly position

• Opportunity to expand the position as needed

• Occasional opportunity for additional paid hours for events outside of regular business hours
